Nonprofit group buys senior community
Park Manor may get Alzheimer's, dementia facility

A nonprofit organization led by businessman Mike Shmerling is buying one of Nashville's first independent-living apartment communities for seniors with plans to add an Alzheimer's and dementia facility to the property.
On Jan. 15, Shmerling's Abe's Garden will assume ownership of Park Manor in a deal worth more than $12 million. Read more...
